Zatoichi is troubled by his violent past, and starts a spiritual journey to a series of shrines. But trouble isn’t far behind, of course. The blind swordsman has to defend a widow from ruthless thugs and despicable townsfolk. The fourteenth Zatoichi film is an attack on the upper classes.
