Mars Gravity Probe 1 is abandoned by its two astronauts, who land on Mars in lifeboat pods, but are separated. One of them finds shelter and creates a life for himself with a surviving monkey and an escaped alien slave, that he names Friday. Their lives are threatened by an evil alien spacecraft.
