When Herbert West arrives at Miskatonic University, the lives of medical student Dan and his fiancée Megan change. Herbert rents a room from Dan, and sets up a laboratory in the basement. He devotes himself to the most occult thing imaginable - reviving the dead. The film is based on a novel by H P Lovecraft.
