Martin returns from hospital to find his girlfriend dating the skipper Bo. The men fight. Bo falls and hits his head. Three years later, Bo’s ship is bound for South America. In Hamburg the sailors go to a bar, where Martin works as a piano player. He gets on board the ship, plotting his revenge against Bo.
